Determination of a suitable crane location

Selection of crane specifications (hook height, outreach, undercarriage, foundation anchors, and possibly specification of load capacities)

Establish the foundation according to regulations (including considering the slope angle of crane location).

Specifically for top-slewing cranes, arrange site visits regarding access, mobile crane positioning, and possible road closures

Arrange any necessary road closures, signage, etc.

For bottom-slewing cranes, the construction power supply must be a maximum of 20 meters from the crane location; for top-slewing cranes, it must be directly at the crane location

Access roads, construction crane location, and mobile crane location must be reinforced for 12-ton axle loads

Clear the construction site (access, departure, and crane location must be cleared)

Check for potential helicopter flight paths

Daily inspection of the crane by the crane operator

Lubricate the crane as needed

Conduct a new briefing when changing crane operators
